Semen formation

Semen is a complex fluid that carries sperm and various secretions to aid in their function. Semen formation involves contributions from several organs and processes in the male reproductive system: 1. Sperm Production:    - The process of sperm production is called spermatogenesis and occurs in the testes. Spermatogonia, or undifferentiated cells, undergo a series of divisions and differentiations to eventually form mature sperm cells (spermatozoa). 2. Testicular Tubules:    - Spermatogenesis takes place in the seminiferous tubules, which are coiled structures within the testes. Sertoli cells provide physical support and nourishment to developing sperm cells. 3. Epididymis:    - After sperm are produced, they move to the epididymis, a tightly coiled tube located on the posterior surface of each testis. Here, sperm mature and gain the ability to swim. 4. Accessory Gland Secretions:    - Several accessory glands contribute various secretions to semen. These include the seminal vesicles,
